At our January trip we'll visit Salt Springs State Park in Northern Pennsylvania. The park has a lot to offer: winter hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, sledding, and frozen waterfall viewing. There's huge Hemlock trees in a picturesque gorge. And at the bottom is the salt spring on Fall Brook. Legend has it that the water is just the right saltiness to cook pasta. So you know what Saturday dinner will be!
